Accommodation at Awakino River Lodge
Built in 1884 as a general store, this iconic building has had a rich history, having been used as a Post office, a Bus depot and tea-room, museum, café and has even at one stage had Petrol pumps attached. Awakino River Lodge is now a newly renovated exclusive French provincial style lodge providing boutique accommodation in coastal Taranaki / Waikato, New Zealand.
